EllioT Microgrid (ET Grid)

The ET Grid is a portable power and communications server. Power is created from renewable dried biomass, heat and biochar are the byproducts. Biochar is used for soil remediation and filtering water, and the heat can warm a home and boil water.

Trader OG (TOG) is a fintech startup that serves small to midsize businesses. Unlike traditional banks, Trader OG specializes in C2B financial instruments backed by data securities guaranteed by the business owners.

The Future Fuels hydrogen station was developed for the Department of Energy and Arizona Public Service and is one on the most successful demonstrations in viable renewable fuel vehicles. This station logged more than 17,000 hours of continual use.

Biofuel | 04

Project | 04 CO2 Capture and JP-8 Biofuel Production, Dept. of Energy, Boeing
​

Plan to convert coal power station to operations that provide a negative carbon feedback loop. The 3 phase project consists of installation of Osaka Gas Hydrogasification Reactors, and a closed loop bioreactor system floating on the cooling ponds. Carbon credits would cover plan costs within 3 years, and the conversion added 70 jobs to operations.

EV Races | 05

Project | 05 High Speed Electric Vehicle racing and fast chargers

Working with an awesome team of former NASA engineers led by my mentor Mike Cheiky, our teams tested the best electric drive trains and pushed the limits of endurance. Ultimately, the fast chargers built won out over the power carried onboard.

 Records:

  • Fastest Pit Time, First Electric IndyCar, Indy 500.

  • Farthest distance on one charge, 387 miles @ 87 mph, Honda CRX Ni-Cd/Zn-Air system.

  • First Formula E, Formula Lightning.

Sall-Y 500 Autonomous Robotics
​

Self-Aware-Learning-Logarithm-Y (SALLY) is an autonomous safety protocol that measure reaction time of an AI against 500 plots to give a safety rating. Using this, SALLY 500 improves the performance of autonomous vehicles and work drones.

Hybrid 500 is a race of innovative automotive designs that incorporate two or more different power sources in hybrid drivetrains. Sponsored by Arizona State University through Venture Devils and Edson Initiative.
